Save the date: Latn Jazz Jam Sessions, September 21, 2014
Posters around are announcing the quarterly Latin Jazz jam at the Capp Street Community Music Center. The event even has an instrument petting zoo. Set in a wonderful old building that appears to be a sister building of 362 Capp Community center, there are a dozen rooms for music lessons, and a small building with stage in the back. 3 pm on Sunday $5, but no one turned away for lack of funds. The center – a gem in our neighborhood that has often been overlooked among the weirdness of Capp Street. Earlier this year, the center got some fame when a program there was selected for an award that was being advertised on the front page of Google.
