A female victim of unknown age was stabbed at the BART Plaza at 24th and Mission streets on Sunday morning, according to police spokesman Albie Esparza. The police received a call about the incident at around 10:45 a.m. and found the woman at the BART Plaza.

She was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with a stab wound to the lower body. Her condition is unknown at this time.

A Mission Local reader said that the incident concerned “one of the regular street people on the 24th, Mission corner” and that there were many police on the scene before a cleanup crew came to wash away the blood.

Nothing else is known, however, as the police were unable to obtain any information about the suspect from the victim.
