Earlier this year, we reported on plans for a large development at 16th Street Bart Plaza. Tonight, forces of opposition are rallying to fight the project as it’s currently designed. The Mission has a reputation for getting down and dirty. According to the The Chronicle, the Department of Public Works gets nearly 4,600 requests to steam clean streets in the Mission—and almost all of them are for human waste.
