There’s a Christmas tree arsonist loose in the Mission — with a handful of incidents reported over the last couple of days. It’s a crime of opportunity, given Recology’s ongoing tree pickup that kicked off last week. The pickup runs through January 15 on residents’ regular garbage pickup days. Residents are asked to remove all the decorations, and to saw trees taller than six feet in half.
