Kink.com has been big on outreach to the neighborhood ever since moving into the Armory on Mission Street — with tours of their sex chambers and all. Yet tonight, they apparently don’t want to disturb their new neighbors at the apartment development, Vara.
The porn production company is co-hosting a New Bohemia NYE party tonight, which looks to be a trip.
So we don’t know what’s more Mission about this scenario: a meeting of the minds between Burners, “self-identified sideshow freaks,” and fire dancers — or trying to keep any potential-NIMBY neighbors happy?
Or, maybe this guy…who already was getting his pre-party on outside the brick fortress, and invited me to join by offering me a beer and calling me “mamacita.” I’m kind of wondering what the Vara folks will think of him.
