A little after 9 p.m. Sunday, a man hit a woman in the face with a glass bottle as she waited at a bus stop on Mission Street between 24th and 25th. The woman was treated for minor injuries at the scene and released. The two were “acquaintances,” Officer Gordon Shyy said. No arrest has been made.
Two hours later, a 17-year-old male was attacked at the corner of 18th and Guerrero. The victim was transported to a local hospital before being moved to San Francisco General Hospital, where officers took his statement. The victim told officers he was assaulted and beaten to the ground by two unidentified attackers. “At some point, he was stabbed in the leg with some sharp-edged object,” Shyy said.
Just before 2 a.m. today, a 43-year-old man woke up to find another man standing in the hallway of his home in the 100 block of Albion Street. The victim told the intruder to leave and the man complied. Upon inspection, the victim noticed his bike was missing. A 67-year-old man who was outside the residence during the incident was arrested and booked on public intoxication, but was not positively identified as the intruder. “The suspect that was actually seen by the victim inside the residence is still at large,” Shyy said.
