Mission-ites, we know how long you’ve been waiting for bakers Amy Brown and Joe Wolf to finally make the move from Richmond to the Mission District. How could you not with those family inspired recipes? (Pot de creme and Marla Buns, anyone?) The wait is over, just in time for fall. Come November, Marla Bakery Kitchen Communal will open their doors to hungry Mission folks. Additionally, their new digs will host a walk-up bakery window (hat tip, bakery retail zone), and will dish out goodies as warm pies, cookies and lunch boxes to go, and a cup of Wrecking Ball Coffee to boot.
