The San Francisco Police Department reported this evening that a shooting occurred at 6:57 p.m. at 23rd and Arkansas streets. The adult male victim suffered a gunshot wound to the leg.

He was driven to San Francisco General Hospital by a third party. Police have not yet released details about the shooting, the suspects involved or the victim’s condition.

A fatal shooting occurred in the same location last Thursday evening. In that incident, 24-year-old Jimmy Chandler died after sustaining gunshot wounds while he was sitting in a parked car with another victim, according to police reports.
