One year later: the interior of Fred's Liquor store after months of reconstruction.

On Thursday, September 26, Fred’s Liquor store will celebrate its grand reopening. Owner Fuad (Fred) Ateyeh will host a three-day party featuring food, drinks, firecrackers, music, food and gift bags.

In the aftermath of last year’s fire that damaged two apartment buildings on Duboce Ave. and Valencia St., Ateyeh, who is also owner of the Duboce Ave. apartments, was determined to rebuild. He says he looks forward to celebrating a reunion with his neighborhood: “I hope you all will join, so I can say thank you to everyone for all the support you gave through a hard time.”

Store Party Dates:
Thursday, 3 p.m.-6 p.m.
Friday, 12 p.m.-3 p.m.
Saturday, 3 p.m.-6 p.m.
