The New York Daily News reports that San Francisco is leading the nation in the rise of home prices. Home sale prices increased by 24.5 percent compared with last year, according to data from S&P/Case-Shiller’s latest 20-City index. That’s a lot higher than New York home prices, which rose 3.3 percent during the same time.

Uptown Almanac reminds us what the Dolores Park playground looked like before the renovation.

The British newspaper, The Guardian, has a list of must-eats in San Francisco which includes many Mission establishments including Bar Tartine and Mission Chinese Food.

In other food news, there’s a new restaurant in the neighborhood. Mission Public is serving breakfast for now but will be adding lunch and dinner shortly.
