KQED’s Bay Area Bites explores the world of bacon and how it’s made. They talked to two Mission butchers to get some expert opinions on the popular breakfast staple.

The victims of the sexual assaults that took place on Mission’s 24th Street corridor in 2011 were honored by San Francisco District Attorney George Gascon on Friday afternoon. The recognition was part of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week. The women honored were survivors of the Dozier case, which ended after an 11-month investigation.
