Different Fur Studios is a hidden Mission District gem. Tucked away on a side street off Valencia, it has birthed some amazing recordings since its founding in 1968. Among the artists who have worked there are classics like DEVO and Phil Collins and indie-pop stars like Rodrigo and Gabriela, Thao and the Walkmen. The Morning Benders, David Byrne, Van Morrison — the list goes on and on.
