After 40 years, the Mission District’s legendary Foxy Lady Boutique is closing its doors. The shop provided lingerie, wigs and costumes to San Francisco denizens and theater companies and was well known in the local drag scene as a place to get ladylike clothes at larger than ladylike sizes.

It is too bad for such business to closed their doors after all the time in the Mission District. I don’t see another one like this place in the near future. GOD bless the owner and her co-workers for all of their wonderful service to the public.
