The San Francisco Food Bank has a shortage of turkeys, according to this article in the San Francisco Chronicle.

The demand for turkeys is rising, the Chronicle reports, while donations have fallen. The food bank needs 3,300 turkeys to distribute, but has thus far received less than half that number. From the Chronicle:

Volunteers will be accepting turkeys and donations Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the San Francisco Food Bank warehouse at 900 Pennsylvania Ave. and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Marin Food Bank warehouse at 75 Digital Drive, Novato.
