As Thanksgiving and the thrill of good old American overeating loom, it’s important to remember those who may crawl into their beds hungry rather than stuffed. This afternoon, Mayor Ed Lee will bring some Thanksgiving goodness to struggling low-income Mission families by giving away 100 turkeys at Plaza Adelante in a joint effort with the Mission Economic Development Agency.
