Domestic violence has become an important topic in San Francisco since the reinstatement of Ross Mirkarimi as sheriff last week. According to the Chronicle, supervisors Eric Mar and Malia Cohen have announced plans to put into place a citywide policy on handling domestic violence issues in the workplace.
