Two suspects, described as men in their 30s, invaded a home at 16th and Mission streets at 10:48 p.m Monday.

The victim was visiting a friend in her apartment when the suspects knocked on the door, then forced their way into the apartment while brandishing a knife. One suspect took the victim’s money and cellphone, and both suspects fled on foot.

The victim did not sustain any injuries. No arrests have been made.

Two women were attacked and robbed at 1:10 a.m. Tuesday morning on 18th and Mission streets.

The two women were approached by two suspects, described as 22-year-old women, and attacked. The victims suffered scratches to the face and refused medical attention. The suspects took the victims’ two cell phones, a purse, an mp3 player, and headphones, then fled on foot.

The victims are in non-life threatening condition. No arrests have been made.

  1. what if rent-control were void for individuals convicted of criminal acts? That might help clean the neighborhood up faster and make our streets safer. Landlords should not be forced to subsidize the lifestyle of thieves and violent criminals.
