Thousands, maybe millions, of websites hosted by GoDaddy.com went offline for hours on Monday, affecting mainly small businesses that rely on the server to run their websites and, in some cases, email services. The San Francisco Chronicle had the report.

The Bay Area might not be considered a battle ground in this Presidential election, but President Barack Obama is making one last stop to meet with faithful supporters in the City by the Bay. According to SF Weekly, Obama will be in town on one last Bay Area fundraising trip October 8.

And for Mission residents who are tired of standing on the side of the street trying desperately to hail a cab, the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency has granted 200 more permits for taxis. The San Francisco Examiner, at least, is very excited for the new cabs.
