San Francisco police announced Monday that a 31-year-old man named Wilfredo Reyes has been arrested in connection with the murders of Anthony, Michael and Matthew Bologna in 2008.

One suspect, Edwin Ramos, was arrested after the shooting and has since been convicted of the murders.

Police said that Reyes fled the state to avoid arrest. A $5 million arrest warrant was outstanding for his role in the triple murders.

“Today I share this major development with members of the Bologna family, who have suffered so much since the tragic murders of Tony, Michael and Matthew,” said District Attorney George Gascón. “We are one step closer to bringing this individual to justice for his heinous crimes. Once the extradition process is complete, we will prosecute this case to the fullest extent.”

San Francisco homicide investigators, U.S. Department of Homeland Security investigators and members of the Rowan County Sheriff’s Department arrested Reyes in Rowan County, North Carolina, earlier on Monday. Reyes was booked into Rowan County Jail.

  1. While there is nothing that could ever make up for this heinous crime, I am glad that the Bologna family can go to sleep knowing that one POS has been convicted and the other has finally been apprehended. We can only hope that justice is swift and that POS #1 (who tried to snitch out POS #2 in a pathetic attempt to be found guilty of a lesser charge) will be tortured & killed by the snitch-haters in the pen, and that POS #2 will just commit suicide and save everyone involved the trouble.
