It’s 7 a.m. and 55º, and it’s going to be another summer day in the Mission! We’re headed to a high of 74º. Details are here.

In real estate news, it’s a seller’s market out there. That’s especially true in some neighborhoods, and — unsurprisingly — the Mission has made the list. Two parts of the Mission, actually: inner Mission and Mission Dolores. In both areas, owners are getting asking, over asking or “way over asking” prices, the Chronicle reports.

We’re not sure how we missed this one, but better late than never: the former chef of Slow Club, Sante Salvoni, is taking over the former New Yorker Buffalo Wings space on Valencia between 17th and 18th streets. The upcoming restaurant will be called MAU (Modern Asian Urban) and will serve southeast Asian cuisine.

According to Tablehopper: “MAU’s menu is going to be casual, based on rice bowls and noodle dishes that clock in under $15, with a whole fish or Dungeness crab for two for $20. The format will be more individual than family style, except for the whole fish dishes, and the menu will change daily (there will also be sandwiches for lunch).”
