A woman suffered head injuries early Thursday afternoon at 19th and San Carlos streets after she was robbed by a man, police said.
Police received a report at 3:30 p.m. regarding a robbery by force. The victim, a 56-year-old woman, was pushed to the ground by a 28-year-old man, causing her to hit her head on the pavement. The suspect took the victim’s purse and fled on foot.
No arrests have been made.
Saturday
A man was hit in the head with a beer can and robbed early Saturday morning at Vic’s Grocery on 26th Street near South Van Ness Avenue, police said.
At 1:25 a.m. Saturday, the suspect, a 35-year-old-man, walked into the store and demanded money from a 46-year-old man. The victim refused and the suspect struck him in the head with a beer can. The suspect took cash from the victim’s hand and the register, then fled on foot.
No arrests have been made.

One hour later, in a separate incident, two men were robbed at 19th Street and South Van Ness Avenue, according to police.
At 2:28 a.m. Saturday, police received a call reporting a robbery. Three suspects surrounded the two victims, a 23-year-old and a 35-year-old man. The suspects began punching and kicking the victims. One victim managed to escape. The suspects then took the remaining victim’s cash and fled.
No arrests have been made.

A separate incident took place 10 minutes later and two blocks north, when a woman was shot in the leg by a man at 17th Street and South Van Ness Avenue, police reported.
Police received a call at 2:40 a.m. concerning the shooting. The suspect shot a 33-year-old woman in the leg and was subsequently arrested, according to police.
The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital; her condition was not life-threatening.

In another incident one hour later, two men were shot on 13th Street and South Van Ness Avenue, according to police.
The shooting was reported to police at 3:40 a.m. The victims, two men aged 24 and 25, were traveling southbound on South Van Ness Avenue when an unidentified suspect fired a round, striking one victim in the shoulder. The other victim was struck with glass. Both victims were taken to San Francisco General Hospital; their conditions were not life-threatening.
No arrests have been made.
Sunday
A woman was robbed in her home Sunday evening, police said.
Police received call concerning the robbery at 5:15 p.m. The victim, a 68-year-old woman, was in her kitchen when she heard a loud bang, police said. She didn’t investigate immediately, but eventually found the front door open. Her laptop, purse, cash, credit card, house keys and car keys were missing. No suspect was seen.

In a separate incident later that evening, a woman was robbed at Market and Noe streets, according to police.
Police received a call concerning the robbery at 7:40 p.m. The victim, a 23-year-old woman, was approached from the rear by two suspects, who took the victim’s cellphone. When the victim turned around, the suspects punched her in the mouth and fled on foot.
No arrests were made.
