It’s hard to believe that an author so linked to the city could go but Tales of the City author Armistead Maupin is moving out of San Francisco. The author of the popular series recently spoke with the Chronicle and said he was moving to New Mexico. But, Tales of the City fans still have something to look forward to. Maupin is working on a new Tales book titled “The Days of Anna Madrigal.”

Would you let a robot make your burrito? New York University graduate student Marko Manriquez wants you to. And he needs your help funding his project. For his thesis project, he developed a 3-D printer that “assembles made-to-order burritos via a custom iPhone app. The project, dubbed Burritobot, is more than just a stunt novelty–it’s a sneak peak at the future of fast food.”
