Two men sustained non-life threatening gunshot wounds on Saturday afternoon, police said.
Police were called at 5:30 p.m. to 19th street, between Mission and Capp Streets, where they found two men had been shot. A 28-year-old man was grazed by the bullet in the upper torso and a 23-year-old man was shot in the arm, according to a police report.
Six suspects, ages 20-25, were seen running from the scene and jumping into a suspect car before fleeing the scene, police said.
There are no arrest. No suspect descriptions are available.
Police told the San Francisco Examiner that they believe the shooting was unralted to the Cinco de Mayo Festivities at Dolores Park.
Shooting on 15th and Natoma
Later that day, a 20-year-old man was shot in the arm at Natoma Street, between 14th and 15th streets, on Saturday night, police said.
The victim was walking when a black car followed him from behind. Shots were fired from the car and the victim was struck in the arm, according to police. Police responded to the incident at 10:15 p.m.
The vehicle, described as a four-door black car, fled Eastbound on 15th Street. No arrest have been made.
A juvenile women was also injured by the shots, According to the San Francisco Examiner
“At 3:15 a.m. Sunday, a juvenile female walked into San Francisco General Hospital with a gunshot wound to her left arm, believed to have been sustained during the same Natoma Street shooting incident, according to [Sgt. Daryl] Fong. The girl’s injury was also described as non-life-threatening.”
Teenagers Rob Man
Three teenagers robbed a 37-year-old man of some cash, his wallet and cell phone on Saturday morning, police said.
The man was standing on the corner of 24th and Mission streets when the three suspects, ages 17-18, jumped the man, police said. They took his property and fled on foot. The man sustained a cut in the back of the head -from a broken bottle- during the altercation.
Police arrived at 12:15 a.m., detained the three suspects and took them into custody after they were identified.
