A 35-year-old man walking home at 2:40 a.m. on Bryant Street near 26th was stabbed in the arm and robbed of cigarettes and his smartphone, police reported.

The victim was walking near his home when two men in their early 20s ran toward him from across the street. One of the suspects pulled a knife and demanded everything he had.

The suspect then lunged at the victim, stabbing him in the inner forearm, police reported. The suspects took a cellphone and cigarettes and fled on foot.

San Francisco General Hospital is treating the victim for non-life-threatening injuries.
