San Francisco’s first Latino district attorney, George Gascon, will be sworn in at Mission High School, 3570 18th St., tonight at 5 p.m.

The Examiner reports that Gascon said he chose the Mission District to be sworn in because of its significance to Hispanic culture. Some of the special guests expected to attend are Kamala Harris, California’s attorney general; Lieutenant Governor Gavin Newsom; and former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown.
