The San Francisco Chronicle reports today that the Occupiers are still divided:

Most of the campers want to accept a city offer to move to a new Occupy campsite in the Mission District. A stubborn knot of activists refuses to go. Arguments erupted all day over the split, with no resolution by nightfall.

  1. I guess if Ed Lee and the BOS are going to screw the Mission yet again, I’d rather have a homeless camp than a camp of ‘protesters’ and anarchists. I mean, the Mission is already full of bums, drug addicts, urine, and feces already right ?

    Ed Lee doesn’t care about Mission people. Neither do our supervisors.

    The Occupy protest itself should never consent to being put in a camp surrounded by chain link fence. They remember what happens after that historically. They would be wise not to accept any offers of blankets as well.
