Good morning Mission! It’s 6 a.m., and partly cloudy at 52° F. We’re headed for 68° F. Here’s more.

Are you still feeling sluggish from your Turkey Day gluttony? Walk it off in the Mission today. Mission-based Photobooth SF is hosting a lomography photo walk, so dust off your toy camera or tap in your Instagram. We’ll be there!

Speaking of photography, local entrepreneur Amit Gupta, who ran the photo gadget store and website Photojojo (we interviewed him last year about his business), was recently diagnosed with leukemia. People of South Asian descent, like Gupta, as well as African Americans, Asians and Latinos, tend to have a difficult time finding a bone marrow match. Gupta and friends are encouraging people to visit amitguptaneedsyou.com/ for more information about joining the bone marrow registry and potentially saving lives.

An admitted technophile, Jessica Lum navigates the Mission with Google Maps, but has only really come to know the neighborhood by wandering on foot, looking at murals, and occasionally watching the guy on the BART steps play “Stairway to Heaven.”
