It’s 8 a.m., 62°, and not moving much. We get a high of 66° today. Here’s what the weekend looks like. Basically, not much different from today, with rain on Monday.

While Hardly Strictly goes on in Golden Gate Park, we’ve got lots going on right here. It’s Open Studios, and on Saturday night, the Mission Arts and Performance Project, known as MAPP.

Here’s a good place for browsing through artists’ work and then finding their studios. Here are Open Studio artists in the Mission. And here’s a map.

The MAPP folks are always late about getting the venues open for performances — poetry, music and more. If you haven’t been, it’s one of the most interesting homegrown evenings around. You can pick up your map at the Red Poppy Art House at 23rd and Folsom at around 5 p.m. We’ll try to get something up as well.

Don’t know what MAPP is? Click HERE for some earlier pieces.

Enjoy! lc
