From 2011

Dolores Park today was a sea of rainbow leggings and near-infinite variations on gay. By the time the parade rolled around, it was like being at the center of a very large, more than a little tipsy, sexually diverse amoeba.

There were kids…
Dance moves…
More than a few mohawks
Songs and speeches…
And the occasional nap…
Sailors…
Bored texting
Furry legwarmers mixed with political messaging…
Free-range recyclers pouncing on every discarded can…
Jell-O shots…
Queer science booth…
Making out by the Lyon-Martin health clinic booth…
Popsicles, pretzels, beer, and bootleg “we are everywhere” t-shirts hawked throughout the park…
And, of course, unicorns. Happy Dyke March, y’all
