We give you crimes off the SFPD’s daily recap, and we try to add to the sparse information they have, but to get inside the head of a police officer maybe it’s best to hear the reports from Mission Station Captain Greg Corrales, who writes his own. We’re still trying to figure out how to handle these and add to them, but for now, we give you Corrales’s newsletter in full. Suggestions?

Captain’s Remarks:
At last! Sanity and common sense have finally prevailed. On April 27, 2011 Greg Suhr was appointed San Francisco’s 42nd Chief of Police. He is my 15th Chief and I, like the rest of the Department, am delighted with the choice. Give Chief Suhr a little time and you will see what a great selection he is for the position.

Yes we will find out. Best, Lydia
