The man seen on surveillance tape accessing the bank account of Joseph Williams, who was murdered this Thursday in his apartment on Folsom Street, has been identified.

His name, according to a press release from Officer Albie Esparza of the SFPD, is Craig Ogans. He’s 52 years old, 5’-7” and weighs 125 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Ogans is believed to be driving a stolen 1995 silver Mercedes Benz four-door with the California license plate 4KUC615.

The SFPD requests that anyone with information on the wherebouts of Ogans or the Mercedes call 911.

Williams was found dead in his apartment last Thursday. His death, initially ruled suspicious, has now been determined to be a homicide by the San Francisco Medical Examiner’s Office. Since then, Ogans has been seen on surveillance video using Williams’ credit card to make cash withdrawals at various locations around the city.
