Two robberies occurred early Wednesday morning, according to police.

The first took place at 12:43 a.m. on 16th and South Van Ness. The victim, a 27-year-old man, was approached by three men, each described as in their twenties.

One suspect grabbed the victim from behind, pressed an unknown object against his back, and demanded his property. The victim complied, handing over cash and his iPod.

The three suspects fled the scene. No arrests have been made.

Around 2:40 a.m., a 28-year-old man was robbed by a group of men on Natoma at 15th Street. One of the four suspects approached the victim and demanded his property. He complied, and the suspect searched through his pockets.

All four suspects, described as males between the ages of 17 and 20, fled the scene with the man’s cash, Muni Fast Pass and cell phone. No arrests have been made.

  1. so there’s pretty much groups of people roaming around the neighborhood after midnight robbing whoever is walking around alone at night apparently. awesome.
