Way too short and sweet – w4m (mission district)

Date: 2011-02-13, 5:52PM PST

I’d gotten my coffee and saw an empty seat in the crowded cafe, but to get there I had to squeeze my way and accidentally bumped into you…I almost spilled your coffee! But you were so cool about it, I think I even saw a glimmer in your eye. I said “Sorry,” and you said “No problem” with such a beaming smile. I couldn’t help but think I was the cause of it — by the way, I’m the one with the disheveled curly hair, glasses, I had a black sweater on and was way too shy to make eye contact with you for more than two seconds. I went to sit down, reached for my book oh so nonchalantly, opened it, and when I finally looked up you were gone.
