Purple velvet. Mirrored dashboard. It was a photo shoot, as it turns out, for a series on lowriders done by the photographer Trevor Traynor.

They were there for all of ten minutes before an angry security guard materialized from behind the building.

Holders for champagne glasses complete the luxurious interior. Rawr.

“I thought this building was abandoned,” said Traynor.
“NOTHING IS ABANDONED IN SAN FRANCISCO!” yelled the guard.

At which point we excused ourself and left.
