Here’s a small compilation of some interesting mind-bending and cultural happenings in the neighborhood – and beyond, of course.

How about Marilyn Pittman’s It’s All the Rage at The Marsh? In this solo show, Pittman grapples with her parents’ murder suicide to present what has become the tragic comedy of her life. The show starts at 8:30pm and runs through December 5th.

Or check out tonight’s show at the Brava Theatre: Half and Halves – A Dance Exploration of the Punjabi-Mexican Communities of California. The show pays homage to the little-known cultural fusion between the Punjabi-Mexican communities that were founded in early 20th century California. The curtain opens at 7pm.

Looking to appreciate bicycling as an art form? Then there’s the Bicycle Film Festival, celebrating its 10th anniversary, and showcasing short films at the Victoria Theatre tonight (followed by an after-party at the Sports Basement Parking Garage) and tomorrow.

L.A. comes to the Bay via Ernesto Yerena Montejano in his first solo exhibit at White Walls SF. In tonight’s opening reception at 7pm, the artist will showcase his visual narrative of revolution and what it’ll look like 10 years from now. The show will run through December 4th.

And, if you’re wary of leaving your beloved pet at home, why not attend this free pet fair at the Women’s Building? It goes from 6-8:30 p.m.
