Roger Pacheco-Paz was arrested and booked on one count of homicide for the murder of Luis Montoya, known as El Chino, who was found stabbed to death Monday morning outside of the Prita Hotel on Mission Street.
Paz, who is 42-years-old, had a history of conflict with Montoya, according to police. The weapon allegedly used to stab Montoya was also recovered during the investigation, police said.
Montoya, a homeless man, hung out at the hotel where some of his friends lived, according to hotel employees.
