At 1 a.m. on Sunday, a victim saw his friend being assaulted by a suspect in his 20s near the corner of 16th and So. Van Ness. When victim tried to stop the fight,  the suspect hit him on the head with a glass bottle. The victim was taken to SF General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The friend was unharmed and the suspect is now in custody.

Monday at 11 p.m. a male suspect in his 30s held up a victim with an unknown object near the corner of 16th and Harrison streets.  The victim handed over his valuables,  and the suspect fled in a car driven by an accomplice. There were no injuries and no arrests have been made.
