The 2010 SF INTERNATIONAL SITAR & TABLA FESTIVAL

Hosted by the Red Poppy Art House and the Sangati Center, the 2010 San Francisco International Sitar & Tabla Festival showcases performances, workshops and film screenings dedicated to the sitar and tabla traditions of South Asian classical music. This full-day community event begins at 8:00 am and concludes with two performances at the Red Poppy:

6:00 pm – 7:00 pm: Srinivas Reddy (sitar) and Sameer Gupta (tabla)
7:00 pm – 9:00 pm: Purbayan Chatterjee (sitar) and Yogesh Shamsi (tabla)

$10 admission (or $40 for a full-day pass to the Festival). Doors open at 5:30 pm. Show at 6:00 pm.
