Celebrate Diane di Prima
Poetry reception in the MCCLA Theater. A ceremony and poetry reception held by Bay Area poets and artists to welcome San Francisco’s new Poet Laureate, Diane di Prima, to her role.
The reading will feature three former SF Poet Laureates: Jack Hirschman, Devorah Major, and Janice Mirikitani. Poetry community luminaries as well as emerging and youth poets will offer poems in a brief program filled with the spirit of celebration!
