If you take the bus in the Mission be aware that the Muni stop on 16th and Mission, going towards 24th street is out of service do to massive road construction. Lines 14, 33, and 49 can be caught two blocks away on 18th street. But while your walking that way you may want to steer clear of the dollar store on Mission and 17th.
San Francisco based writer Travis Jensen recently documented a messy drug bust that happened there over the weekend. The post even has pictures of the undercover cop who stopped to pose with the recovered crack in his hand.
He writes, “We later found out that this particular dollar store is notorious for crack sales.”
