  1. I was surprised by that tree a few weeks ago, having gotten off at the wrong stop and waiting for the 22 bus. Another passenger and I realized it is flocked that strange (for Christmas) color so can’t be used as most trees are by the city. The flocking will preserve the shape for a long time—a truly SF tree!

  2. Ah yes, that old existential question! Seen a more-than-usual number of discarded Christmas trees this year but this one is the winner!
