A late entry in police reports brings yesterday’s total of three robberies in two days up to four robberies in two days. Police report a 45-year-old man was riding his bicycle on 24th and Capp streets around 4:15 a.m. on Tuesday when two men approached the victim and pushed him off his bicycle. The men took the bike and fled with it. The victim was uninjured, but no arrests were made.

This morning, at 2:45 a.m., a 29-year-old man was accosted by two men, one 34 and the other 51 years old, in the hallway of a building on Mission street between 16th and 17th streets. The first man pulled out a Taser, and the second brandished a handgun. The second suspect then pistol-whipped the victim and robbed him of his cash. The victim, however, was able to get away and flag down an SFPD patrol unit, and officers were able to take both suspects into custody. The victim, who suffered a laceration on his face, was then transported to San Francisco General Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
