In addition to the quadruple homicide the occurred in Hayes Valley this weekend, San Francisco police department report of at least one stabbing in the Mission that sent a 26-year-old to the hospital in critical condition and two robberies.
At around on 1:30 a.m. Saturday on Albion Street, police report that the man was attempting to get away from a verbal altercation he had with another man and four of his friends, all in his 20s. Before the 26-year-old could exit the scene, the group came after him, and one stabbed him in the upper back. The group fled the scene.
The 26-year-old was reported to be in critical condition from the stab wounds Saturday and sent to San Francisco General Hospital. By Monday, the young man had been released from treatment and was home, according to police spokesperson Officer Grace Gatpandan.
This weekend also saw two robberies in the Mission.
At Harrison and Cesar Chavez Friday night around 10, two suspects came up behind a 64-year-old woman and shoved her to the ground. The suspects took the woman’s backpack, which had a camera, wallet, and cash.
Saturday evening around 6 p.m., three men in their 30s and 40s entered a cellphone story on Mission Street near 22nd. While two of the men distracted the 51-year-old store employee, the third man stole several cellphones. The three suspects then exited the store and hailed a yellow cab to escape the scene.
On 23rd Street, a woman was also attacked by her companion.
