Police reported that at 10 p.m. a man and a woman were robbed at gunpoint and the man was assaulted near Capp and 22nd streets. The victims were approached by two male suspects. One suspect pointed a gun at the woman and demanded her purse, and she complied. The suspect then pointed the gun at the man and demanded his wallet. When the victim did not comply, the suspect hit him in the head with the gun.

The suspects fled on foot. The male victim suffered bruising to the head; his injuries were not life-threatening. No arrests were made.

Thursday

Police reported that a man was walking through a dark area of Dolores Park at 1:12 a.m. when a male suspect approached him and asked him for a place to stay overnight. When the victim refused, the suspect threw him to the ground and punched him several times in the face. The suspect took the victim’s cellphone and fled. The victim suffered a bloody nose, bruising to the face and pain in the back. His injuries were not life-threatening.

A police officer located and arrested the suspect.

At 1:45 a.m., five men got into a verbal argument that escalated into a physical altercation near Mission and 25th streets, police reported. One man was stabbed in the torso, and the four suspects fled on foot. The victim was treated at San Francisco General Hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening. No arrests were made.
