It’s 7 a.m. and 51°, headed to 74°. It’s beginning to look and feel a lot like spring in the Mission. You can find details here.

Controversial new parking rules could be coming to the Mission is just a few days. According to the Municipal Transportation Agency, over 80 percent of cars parked on northeastern Mission streets on a regular business day do not belong to local residents. The new rules will enforce parking meters in an effort to make more parking available for residents and discourage commuters from using the Mission as a free parking lot.

Mark your calendars, bike riders: BART is set to start another test period during which bikes will be allowed on trains during commute hours, according to the Examiner. The experiment will run March 18-22; the first test took place last summer. BART is considering adopting new rules that would be more friendly to commuters with bikes.
