BART is looking for ways to accommodate passengers with bicycles. A test period will allow commuters to bring their bikes onto BART during rush hour as long as there is enough space for passengers who don’t have bikes. The test follows what BART officials are calling a successful summer experiment in which commuters were allowed to bring their bikes on board during rush hour for five Fridays. The new trial period runs March 18-22.
