Students under the age of 18 are signing up to get free Muni passes on their Clipper cards. Over 18,000 youths have applied to participate in the 16-month trial program, set to begin March 1. In order to qualify for the pass, students must also be eligible for free or subsidized lunch programs.

The Bold Italic explores the Mission’s Heath Ceramics. The two-story building, previously a commercial linen laundry, has been transformed into a ceramic shop and studio.
