A man was shot in the leg Monday evening during the attempted robbery of a pharmacy on Cesar Chavez near Guerrero.

The victim, a 24-year-old man, was closing the building’s front door around 6:30 p.m. when one of two suspects walked in through the side door. The suspect pointed a handgun at the victim and shot him in the leg, then dragged him behind the front counter and demanded the safe and pills.

The second suspect ran to the back room to get pills, and both suspects then ran out of the store, got into a silver sedan driven by a third suspect and fled.

No arrests have been made.
