San Francisco has banned public nudity, requiring those who bare all to pay a fine of $100 for a first offense and $200 for a second in a 12-month period. About time, or an attack on personal expression?

Today we begin a series called “Giving Thanks,” a collection of profiles of places in the Mission that do great things for the community — places that we, and many others, are thankful for.
