Black Friday in the Mission

We headed out today to see how the shopping climate was post-Turkey Day. Here in the Mission, streets were lively and stores busy, but no one was fighting over a new smartphone. Sarah Diamond, an employee at Kids’ Curiosities, said that while customers were indeed plentiful today, it wasn’t because they were buying into Black Friday madness. “It’s been busier since the start of the holidays,” she said.
